This workshop consists of two parts. In the first one Inbal Lori will introduce you to some powerful, effective tools from different acting techniques which will boost your improvisation. With those tools you can create wonderful, dramatic, funny, honest moments on stage and learn how to „cash“ them by playing them to the full, in a believable, honest and committed way.
In the second half of the workshop we will apply these tools to solo-work. Whether you are planning to go solo or not, the tools of improvising by yourself are essential to all improvisers! Multiple characters scenes, taking the time, using who you are as an endless source of inspiration, ways of discovering and storytelling – all these tools and techniques will be explored in this workshop.
Inbal Lori is an actor, writer, coach, director and improviser originally from Israel. Now based in Berlin.
Inbal has won many awards and scholarships (Worldie Award” for Improvisers from the National Theater of the World, Best Supporting Actress at the Israeli Fringe Festival, Best Performer at the Israeli Fringe Festival for “The Woman I Could Have Been”, Writers Scholarship from “Beit Lessin” theater in Israel, Playwright Program Full Scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation). She regularly performs with different ensembles and in her solo-show.
